Additional Income for Bloggers, Hubbers and Others
Income Opportunities Exist
Just about any blogger or other online writer has an opportunity to make some cash based on content and connections. There are plenty of worthwhile opportunities out there to earn some extra income as you build and broaden your online presence.
Three opportunities that I want to share are:
- AdSense
- Amazon Associates
- Affiliate programs
Google AdSense
Got Blogger? Post articles through online article directories? This makes way too much sense. If you blog or freelance like I do, you want to get as much exposure as possible as well as make as much passive income as possible. That's pretty much a given.
Google AdSense lets you do so. It has free registration. It pays based on clicks, purchases and volume. Stay abreast on the latest happenings. Google is always releases something new, upgrading something here and there, and AdSense is certainly one place where that may occur in the realm of Internet income. Don't wait to receive an email about it. Check the information page for Google AdSense at least monthly (like when you check your account balance).
AdSense is a great addition to your hubs as well as blogging sites like Blogger (oddly enough a fellow Google item). Additionally, AdSense goes well with Google Analytics where you can check site traffic.
Amazon Associates
Think books and beyond. That's Amazon. Yes, it is the world's largest online retailer. I suppose you may want to consider it the Wal-Mart of Cyberspace.
Amazon Associates affiliate program offers the online writer, blogger and hubber an opportunity to get a piece of the Internet retail pie. It is a free program offered by Amazon. Through the program, you can earn money from clicks and purchases of everything from books, magazine subscriptions and MP3 downloads to clothing, jewelry and computers. Truly, the catalog of available items is quite broad and offers plenty of opportunities for associates.

Other Affiliate Programs
Other online companies offer affiliate programs. These range from those that pay you for every click to those that only pay if a purchase is made directly after clicking from a link or advertisement on your site. There are a wide range of affiliate programs out there. It is highly advisable that you research and investigate any and every affiliate program that is out there to ensure that you hook up with the right program. Otherwise, you may find yourself connected to something that does not fit your site, blog or posts on HubPages.
